All image processing happens directly in your browser. Your files never leave your device.

Adjust output quality for JPG and WebP formats to balance file size and image quality.
Works on desktop, tablet, and mobile. No software installation required.
Converting from a lossless format (PNG) to a lossy format (JPG) may reduce quality slightly, but you can control this with the quality slider. Converting from lossy to lossless (JPG to PNG) preserves the current quality but won't recover lost data. WebP offers excellent quality at smaller file sizes.
JPG does not support transparency. When converting a PNG or WebP image with transparency to JPG, transparent areas are filled with a white background. If you need to preserve transparency, use PNG or WebP as your output format.
Since all processing happens in your browser, there is no strict file size limit. However, very large images (over 50 megapixels) may cause slower processing depending on your device's capabilities.
Use JPG for photographs and images where small file size matters. Use PNG for graphics, screenshots, and images that need transparency. Use WebP for the best balance of quality and file size, especially for web content.
