FreeReadText provides AI-powered text-to-speech and speech-to-text services, allowing users to convert text into natural-sounding audio across 100+ languages and voices. We offer both free and paid subscription plans with varying character limits and features.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Maintain only one account per person

You are responsible for anything that happens through your account unless you close it or report misuse to us immediately.

4. Access and Use License

Subject to these Terms, FreeReadText grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable, limited license to access and use the site and services for your personal or commercial use in accordance with your subscription plan.

You agree not to:

Your Content: You retain ownership of the text content you submit for conversion. The generated audio output from our text-to-speech services may be used by you in accordance with your subscription plan.

Our Content: All intellectual property rights in the site, including design, code, logos, trademarks, and the underlying AI technology, belong to FreeReadText or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except as expressly stated.

6. Purchases and Subscriptions

Paid features are available through subscription plans. By purchasing a subscription, you warrant that you have the legal right to use the payment method provided. FreeReadText reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice for material changes.

7. Third-Party Links and Advertisements

The site may contain links to third-party websites and display advertisements (including Google AdSense). These third-party services are not under our control, and FreeReadText is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. We provide these links only as a convenience. 8. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. FREEREADTEXT EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FREEREADTEXT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the services at our sole discretion, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the services ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including liability limitations, disclaimers, and dispute resolution) shall remain in effect.

11. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating formal dispute resolution, you agree to first contact us at support@freereadtext.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

All claims and disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

12. Copyright Policy

FreeReadText respects the intellectual property of others. If you believe that content on our site infringes your copyright, please send a written notification to support@freereadtext.com including: identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the infringing material, your contact information, and a statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized.

14. Changes to Terms

FreeReadText reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a new effective date. For significant changes, we may also send notification via email. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and FreeReadText.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. FreeReadText may assign these Terms freely.
  • Electronic Communications: You consent to receive communications from FreeReadText electronically. All notices and communications provided electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
