Neosapience Completes 45-Fold Share Restructuring as Typecast Voice Platform Nears KOSDAQ IPO

Neosapience, the South Korean operator of the Typecast generative AI voice platform, has completed a sweeping capital restructuring ahead of its KOSDAQ listing, eliminating complete capital impairment as institutional bookbuilding runs through September 4. The IPO, led by Daishin Securities, would position the company as a listed representative of South Korea's generative AI sector.

On September 2, 2026, South Korean AI media technology company Neosapience — operator of the Typecast generative AI voice platform — reported the completion of a sweeping capital restructuring ahead of its planned KOSDAQ listing. The restructuring was driven by the conversion of all redeemable convertible preferred shares (RCPS) into common stock on March 12 and an unusually large 4,400% bonus issue carried out on March 3, which increased the share count 45-fold. The moves eliminated the complete capital impairment that had left the company's debt ratio not applicable in 2024 and 2025.

The financial turnaround is visible in the ratios: the current ratio improved from 36.96% in 2025 to 233.52% in the first half of 2026, while the debt ratio fell to 64.05%, below the industry average of 85.12%. The improvement came primarily from the accounting reclassification of liabilities and equity following the RCPS conversion, with the inflow of pre-IPO funding in November 2025 contributing in part. Since its founding, Neosapience has raised a $3.4 million Series A in February 2020, a $13.6 million Series B in February 2022, and roughly $11.2 million in pre-IPO investment in November 2025.

The listing process is now in its final stretch. Neosapience filed its securities registration statement on July 23 after passing a technology assessment in March and receiving preliminary approval from the Korea Exchange. The company plans to offer 2 million shares at a proposed price range of $9.40 to $10.70 (₩13,800–₩15,800) per share, with institutional bookbuilding scheduled for August 31 through September 4 and public subscription on September 8 and 9, under lead underwriter Daishin Securities. Typecast offers more than 700 AI voice characters and has surpassed 3.2 million cumulative registered users, with B2B contracts including SOOP, CJ OnStyle, LG Uplus, and SBS across broadcasting, education, home shopping, and gaming.

Neosapience is using the listing to fund expansion on two fronts: global growth for Typecast — accelerated by its selection as a South Korean partner for the AWS ISV Accelerate co-selling program — and its conversational AI agent Neona, which secured its first education-sector contract in May. CEO Kim Tae-su said: 'We will use the KOSDAQ listing as a foundation to accelerate the global expansion of Typecast, our generative AI voice platform. With our conversational AI agent Neona, we aim to become a leader in AI agents that communicate naturally with people through voice.' If the offering completes as scheduled, the Typecast operator would become one of the most closely watched voice AI listings of the year.
